A Memento Mori piece. The shape was inspired by a tarot card and its my take on the “Death Card” which often dosnt’t actually mean death, In tarot it can symbolise the ending of a certain phase of your life, essentially a new beginning. You can also view this Memento Mori as just that, a reminder that we all will eventually die and you can use this reminder as a reason to live your best life in the limited time we have. This thought initially sounds morbid but finality is the best motivator to do the things you enjoy and to live a life worth living.

The engraving shows a crescent moon which can symbolise many things but I view this as a symbol that the “new moon” is a new portion in your existence, that new existence actually being death. A skull and bone with a sunset, the sunset symbolises the end of a period. “We will all have our last sunset and spend the rest of time in our “new moon” “
